September Re-cap

Labor Day Weekend was spent at Headlands Beach. We had a little BBQ with friends, withstood the rain and winds, and were lucky to wait it out for a beautiful end to the day.

When bored in class I send pictures to Aaron and Allie through out the day. But this semester the most exciting parts were waxing teeth, drilling, and stitching pigs feet.

This month Aaron was busy putting me to shame, we were busy with soccer on the weekends, we learned how to remove permanent marker (which BTW – sunscreen will remove safely!), had craft nights, and enjoyed summer night walks.

5k with the girls – Malia rode her bike along with us. This was actually a work function for Aaron, right before he quit to stay home with the girls. He took the job out of need for a job, but it totally sucked… With the cost of child care and the fact that Malia and Allie were having a hard time adjusting, not to mention that neither of us had much time for the kids, it only made sense for Aaron to quit and stay home until he found something he would really enjoy.

We went to the Cuyahoga County Fair, but it really made us miss the Clark County Demolition Derby. The one here was pricey… there is just something about FREE white trash entertainment – there should be no price on that. But, this place did have a weird bear show that screamed animal abuse.

Happy Birthday Hoku – Aaron surprised me with a new Ninja!

We forgot to grab a picture of Allie, but the girl’s both started school. Malia is in Kindergarten, and Allie is in preschool. They both LOVE school and are doing really well.

Soccer practicing (Malia would rather be goalie). And Date nights – we are really loving how much there is to do here!
